It looks like one entire side of the CWS bracket will be SEC teams.

Georgia, Texas, Alabama and Oklahoma. Of course, OM is on the other side of the bracket with Troy and West Virginia.

If true, a favorable draw for the ReBearSharks. However, it's pretty well proven once you get to Omaha, anyone can beat you. Everybody is good.

And based on the past 5 years (portal / NIL era), there’s an 80% chance of an All-SEC final series. Draw your own conclusions.

It’s already a certainty that an SEC team is winning it all. Just gotta hope for the one from the full SEC bracket to be the one.

I sure do love watching college playoffs where my only rooting interest is that OM lose.***

At some point Monday the SEC will tweet about an SEC team making the finals of the CWS a ninth consecutive time and 17 of the last 18.

Ole Miss is the weakest SEC team there and is subject to lose to WV and Troy.
Georgia vs North Carolina in the championship. Hope North Carolina wins… but I’d be fine with West Virginia or Troy too. Hell actually let’s just give it to Troy

It's a f-ing joke. The UM-UNC game Friday is almost a semi-final game. Winner of that game is going to be hard to keep out of the finals.
WV and Troy coaches should get together and agree to start their Sunday starter for the first game. Win or lose they will have their best ready to go.

Hard to root for a particular team this time. Won’t root for Ole Ms., definitely not Georgia or bama, not a big fan of Schlossnagle, guess Oklahoma or a non SEC team. Granddaughter wants to go to NC, so maybe. Rooting for any of these teams is like waiting to see if your about to have diarrhea or getting constipated.🫢🤷🏻‍♂️

I may wager on college World Series. What are your predictions for Georgia vs Texas ?

I don’t bet. But I definitely wouldn’t bet this game. This looks like a finals series on Day 2. Between that and UMiss-UNC Friday, the rest of the bracket play looks to be pretty meaningless until UGA-TX and UMiss-UNC meet again in bracket finals.

The NCAA committee did their part, put all of the SEC in one bracket, and then, one that they thought had no chance, in the other, ...
Almost guaranteed somebody else would be in the finals.

It would have helped a lot if Florida & UCLA hadn’t crapped the bed in their regionals.

The TIDE is in, Sooners up next.
As someone said earlier, that’s all we need is for bama to decide they want to be significant in baseball again.
AU and Butch has probably taken a few players that may have had their sights on us but decided to stay in state or from GA and closer to home.
We’ve done well recruiting the state of Alabama in the last 25 plus years.

Fact:

The CWS is just like high school. One side of the cafeteria sits the cool kids. On the other side the freaks.

ETA this would make for a funny SEC Shorts skit having OM walking over with her tray trying to sit with the other SEC schools thinking she belonged there in their presence.
