Would say Grimsley has a 75% chance to repeat and Hough has a 96% chance to repeat. In 8A Hough will be better than last year and the competition much weaker. Their only 8A comp last year was WC and Millbrook; two very elite national level football teams. They blanked them both in dominate fashion. Not sure folks understand just how good WC was last season and Hough destroyed them. Add in easy conference and a first round bye Hough is playing against history as they will also be very healthy. WC lost a lot and will still be a very good team but not on the Hough level. Millbrook lost a bunch of talent but return QB and some great linebackers/D line.
7A challengers Weddington, Clayton and Cardinal Gibbons. Darkhorse: Richmond County.

I think they have a good chance to repeat if they stay healthy.
It’s Hough’s to lose. Grimsley will likely repeat unless they get caught with their pants down late in the playoffs. It’s more possible for them than it is for Hough I think
