Milan Momcilovic is at #68 in ALL-TIME Career 3-Point FG % since the 1992-93 season, with a minimum of 200 made and averaging 2 makes a game.
With another very productive year like last year, he will make a strong move up in the all-time career rankings.
GOOD LUCK to him for an injury-free, highly-successful season. I hope he attempts at least 300 threes ... !!

What’s the list for high D1? It’s impressive for sure but who has played 4 years for a major program/conference and is on the list. Lundblade and kids like him put those gaudy numbers up in smaller conferences. I mean Brea proved if you can shoot it doesn’t matter but they do face better defense all year long. Milan has played major D1 every year.

Personally Curry, Redick, Ford, Monk, Murray, Lamb, and Chris Lofton are some of the best shooters I have seen at this level. Also Eric Gordon was awesome, Jordan Bohannon was quite the shooter as well. Milan is up there as well. I can’t wait to see him bomb away this year. I hope he shoots 10 a game.

#45 on that list will be playing for Tennessee this upcoming season. Tyler Lundblade
Nice find ... I didn't notice that. That will make the games against Tennessee even more interesting than they already always are ... !!

Very Good Question !! You probably already have, but you can scan down the "Last School" column to get the kind of info you are looking for.
It would be very interesting to see some statistics on players who have moved up via the portal and how their percentages held up ... no question.
There may be far more pressure on a player moving laterally at high D1 level, than on one moving up to "prove himself" as a big-time shooter !!

Kellan Grady and Antonio Reeves come immediately to mind, SHOOTING BETTER !! Hopefully, this bodes well for Wilkins and McBride this season:

It will be interesting to watch how Lundblade does stepping up from Belmont to the Vols. They have a recent history of such players moving up:

For interest and general reference, here is a listing of the KENTUCKY Career Leaders in 3-point Field Goal Percentage.
Only Reed Sheppard, Lamb, Mills, Ford, Dillingham and Brea have a higher percentage than Momcilovic's career percentage, coming into this season.
It is amazing to consider that Sheppard and Dillingham shot so well and made this list stepping up into their FIRST YEAR of college basketball ... !!
It appears this listing has not been updated yet through last year, as Collin Chandler should be listed at 39.6% during his two-year career and Denzel Aberdeen should be listed at the 36.3% he shot last year:

It appears MM would be about #20 if counting only Big 4 conferences.

That's good info, BlueBomb ... THANKS !!

Based on the current listing, without regard to anyone else moving in/out or up/down, if Momcilovic shot 300 threes this season, making 135 for a 45% percentage, his career percentage would increase from 42.8% to 43.5% (395/908) and he would move up to #43 in this overall ranking. I assume it would move him up a few spots in your Big 4 Conference listing, as well. I'd love to see him go 135/300 this season at 45% !!! 💪💪

300 attempts in a season is EASILY doable, based on this list and knowing Momcilovic attempted 279 threes last year.
To shoot at least 300 threes, he will have to be a major focus of our offense, without question, however. We all know this ...
For reference, our team attempted a total of 859 threes last year in thirty-six (36) games. Our opponents attempted 858 threes against us, fwiw.

Seems we need to up our attempts per game. We should be shooting about 30-35 a game imho the way Pope really wants to play.

I mean yeah. The fact the greatest three point shooter in history of the game by significant margin isn’t even in the top 100 says a lot about this statistical category. But also says a lot about bobs time at Davidson. And too be fair high volume three point shooting didn’t really become trendy until Steph completely changed the way kids practice and play the game and GM’s build rosters.

There is no question that Steph Curry is considered the best three-point shooter ever, but these collegiate percentages speak for themselves and he appears to have improved since his three-year career at Davidson ... no question. My guess is a large number of these higher ranked percentage shooters were not as big, athletic or talented as Curry and their shooting prowess is under-appreciated and not as well-known. Nonetheless, It is still very impressive that Curry attempted 1,004 threes in this three-year career, making 414 for a 41.2% percentage, ranking #164 on this thirty-three (33) year list.

It is very interesting to look at the NBA & ABA Career Leaders for 3P% and note that Seth Curry (#7) has a higher career percentage than his brother (#14).
Plus, it's also most amazing to see their Father, Dell Curry, listed at #44 on this list. You talk about an incredible shooting bloodline ... geez !!!

Stephen Curry is universally recognized as the greatest three-point shooter of all time. He is the NBA’s all-time leader in three-pointers made, holds the records for both regular season and playoff triples, and fundamentally changed how the game is played due to his elite volume and accuracy.
For a deeper dive into the numbers, we can look at his career statistics:
  • Career 3-Pointers Made: Ranks first all-time, having broken the previous record held by Ray Allen.
  • Career 3-Point Percentage: Sits comfortably above 42%, remarkable given the extremely high level of difficulty and defensive attention he faces.
  • Single-Season Records: Holds the top spots for the most three-pointers made in a single regular season.
Following Curry, players like Ray Allen and Reggie Miller are frequently cited for their longevity, clutch shooting, and pioneering roles in the three-point evolution. Meanwhile, Klay Thompson is heavily regarded as one of the greatest pure catch-and-shoot marksmen in history.
