Awesome to see the new guys in the photo. Everyone in the photo has at least 1 more year of eligibility after this year. Can't wait to see what Ben does with this group.

So do I. He was pivotal in the win against Florida. He also had a really high basketball IQ that a young team like this needs.
No doubt Stirtz, Banks and Folgy will be missed. Adding McKeever is a real plus.
McKeever - Manyawu - Jirak > Big plus on the boards, size matters
Thompson - Jirak/Harris > Banks was a dog but Thompson will bring better perimeter game, will Harris step up, maybe Jirak when they need more size. Folgy was hit or miss, very good or OK.
Koch - Coon > stronger with another year experience for Koch, Coon is great athlete, needs to get stronger
Sage - Howard > stronger
Combs - Coleman > not as strong, Stirtz will be missed but team may be more balanced

Someone said everyone in the pic can come back. There are 14 guys. 14+1 = 15. What am I missing?
I think in other thread someone said walk ons like Jacob Koch grandfathered in and don’t count against 15 since he was one prior to the rule being imposed.

I reckon Coon taking Banks' #6 might put to rest any notion that Iowa expects Tavion back.
Starts for next year. If I’m not mistaken with college World Series ending was the last sport for the 25-26’ college athletic season.
Been awfully quiet on the men's summer workout progression. Ben keeps things close to the vest. Looking forward to an open practice to see how the new players are meshing with returning players.
