As much as I despise Cal, it’s hard to beat this one. I remember watching nonstop highlights of them all, salivating at the thought of them in UK blue after convincing myself for months that Dakota Euton and Vinny Zollo were elite.. 😆

Brandon Knight and MKG committed to UK on the exact same day - April 14th, 2010. Knight was a top 3 in his class, and MKG was #1 in his class at the time.

It's never been better.

Is this a real rumor? I met (well observed him) at the Marriott in Atlanta during the SEC tourney when I was young and came away not thinking much of him. To be fair, that was a long time ago and people can change.

We picked up a transfer we paid reportedly 7 million for and a recruit for 27. For pope it’s a big deal but it’s 2 guys spread out over 2 years. UK fans have really forgotten what it’s like to land big fish so this flurry was necessary for pope. Not to mention it was an inevitable because he had to get somebody throwing 7 million around..

You seem to be really concerned about what Kentucky is paying recruits and transfers.

Is it coming out of your pocket? If not, quit crying and using it as a lame way to try to dampen the excitement of true Kentucky fans, who A.) Don't give a **** how much it costs to maintain Kentucky's tradition and B.) are truly ecstatic to end up with the #1 player out of the Transfer Portal who is a perfect fit, the potentially best center in the country returning and a Top Six super-elite recruit as a start to the 2027 class that, if it leads to Hampton's close buddy, #1 overall Jason Spears, joining him will be the best in America, and on par with Cal's in his glory days (without Cal's inevitable Tournament choke job.)

Greatest Ten Day Stretch Ever? I dunno. But it is great to be a kentucky basketball fan right now, and that is plenty for me.

When Cal robbed his Memphis recruiting class to come to UK. More like 45 days of landing Cousins, Wall and Bledsoe.

Wouldn't surprise me if Hampton pulls Spears in, and hopefully we will be talking about them one day, in the same breath, as some of these players you guys are talking about.
