Maybe- but the SC centerfielder started the game in the infield. And that’s a hard play to make for anyone
Ole Miss is old and talented. I don't care that they weren't a host. They have a pitcher who was a starter on the national championship team 4 years ago. I don't think there's a significant difference between playing them or if we'd have played Auburn.
As resilient as our boys are, I would take them over anybody. However, Ole Miss does scare me a little bit.

our pitching was amazing 25 of the 27 innings, gave up 4 runs in those 25 innings

It’s hard to explain how crushing it would have been to get 22 great innings from Glauber, Lynch, and DeCaro (I know Lynch was eventually charged with 4 runs but he threw great) and not win the Super. Now I’ll never have to know.
Pitching staff showed up. Props to them and props to the whole team for playing until the final out. Let’s enjoy this and then get ready for another challenge.

Caroline, you really gotta enjoy the ride a bit more. We’ve both commiserated our fair share this year… but ride some more positivity. Way more healthy and enjoyable!
We might be, but we’re running into a team punching above their season weight. My brother has ties to ole miss. They’re another hot team like usc. Pitching and hitting just well enough to knock off top sec teams in the post season. Lots of injuries throughout the year, but peaking at the right time. Will be a tough out. Unless we start Decaro or lynch!!
Unfortunately this is true. Gotta capitalize this year or soon. Even Forbes is rooting for him to be a head coach!
I’d rather have Auburn. See my other post about my brother knowing ole miss well. There were a lot of injuries early and throughout the season. They are experienced and playing very well.

Mauricio Dubon and Eli White made this type of catch this year. Dubon left eyeblack on the wall and stayed in the game. White missed a week with a concussion.
