Had Madonna herself in it, as the filmmakers got her just as she was becoming enormously famous,

I can understand not liking the movie as whole. But the scene I'm talking about? It sums up why people care about sports better than anything I've ever seen.

Used that a couple of times on my last boss too when he tried to get me to change my "work evaluation" of myself when he was supposed to write it. He said it was not long enough or in depth "wordy" enough for him. I like short and to the point.

After saying "my team is on the floor" he asked what I meant by that and I told him. He was not happy but...I did not care.

I always quote sports movies. Four of my favorite are from Major League alone:

“Forget the curveball, Ricky….GIVE EM THE HEATER!!!”

“He once threw at his own kid in a father-son game”

“I don’t think that one’s QUITE got the distance”

“EFF YOU JOBU, I do it myself!”
