We all hate losing. We all bltch in game threads. We all hurt in losses, especially close games; especially in post season.

We don't all create a dozen threads (a piece) before, during, or after the game.

I don't like censorship, ignoring, or banning those with whom I disagree...or even detest.

Misery loves company, which is why we're all here as State fans.

I think we do win tomorrow. Monday could be another game like today. Hope we can pull this off. Georgia is a very good time but I for one am sick of seeing them win against us! It’s our turn!

I’d be very surprised.
As a state fan, you have to expect Georgia to absolutely pour it on in game 2 and the hailstates to lay down and take it. Make me eat crow.

If State wins the next two, would that be the most epic comeback in school history? Baseball history?

I remember coming back out of the losers bracket in a few regionals but this would be another level, I think.

.... and I will gladly say I was wrong. ..didn't have faith etc. you can have my football tickets for retributions.

Very few, if any, real state fans enjoy posting negative stuff on here. It’s just this place is an outlet for all the frustration when we do lose, which unfortunately, is quite often.

But anyone on here dreaming of an all Mississippi championship series isn’t a true state fan. A true bulldog never wants to see them succeed in the slightest.

Everyone will say I knew we’d win it all along. Seriously, I don’t think we will. But we’re not completely out of it either. We really do still have a chance. I’d say maybe 10-15%. But this Georgia team is not unbeatable.

Winning two in a row when we’ve had this many close games against them is not that unlikely at all.

But at this point I don’t believe we are due some regression to the mean. I think we are just flawed as a team in a way that we just cannot beat talented teams. We have enough talent ourselves that we can dominate teams that are bad to pretty good, but we are just going to be close but not quite there against good teams.

You hate to say it but that does appear to be the case. Just not quite good enough to win the big games.
