Trying the be the hero in the 3rd inning - just can’t happen.
Considering it was 3-1, 0% of the time is it strike 3.
I mean difference in the two games so far
UNC w Bases loaded: 3 times 1 run
USC w Bases loaded: 1 time 4 runs
UNC w Bases loaded: 3 times 1 run

Can’t go to Omaha with that. Two chit ABs with bases loaded. Same thing yesterday. I don’t care if you get out or not but at least get in a quality AB

Exactly. In a 3-1 count you should be looking for a pitch in a very small area - your sweet spot. If the pitch isn't there, you take it. Period.
The casual baseball fans that show up here only during postseason infect this board with more poison than we find on basketball game threads.

I haven't seen anyone personally say anything derogatory about a specific player or coach. I think it's like anything else it's do or die in the post season and people are a little more amped.
An AB consists of an entire plate appearance. If I’ve been married 20 years and screw the neighbor and end up divorced, people aren’t going to give me credit for a partially good marriage
