Sounds like Facundo will be going 165Position wrestle offs to follow
165 - Dee/Casey/Routledge
174- Facundo/Norman/Routledge
184-Berge/White/Zack
Edit: Added White
I thought it was pretty agreed upon from insiders that he was going to take a medical redshirt?Zack should heal up right? His injury is pretty gnarly. Would he be healthy by November? Hate to see any athlete aggravate something because they get back in there too soon.

Norman is the best guy at 174. He'll have to worry about Ryder in 2027-2028.I really would like Dee, Norman and Berge to take 165-184. But I would be happy with whoever takes the spot, because that means they bested the other guys who are also studs!
If someone else takes 174lbs wonder what will Norman do, since he still is pretty young and has 2 more if not 3 more year.
Have we moved on from Tagen J or did I miss it and he’s portaled? My estimated first guess with all the things that I know right now.
125- Spark plug
133- Jax
141-Raney
149-Vega
157-Robideau
165-Dee
174-Lorenzo
184-Berge
197-Panda
285-Ross
The following is my hopium. Although it might be difficult for NCAA champs to go back to back sometimes.
Potential to remain the same point wise at 125, 133, 157, 184, 197 and 285
Expecting higher points: 149, 165, 174
Expecting lower points : 141
I don't see either Raney beating Jamison at 141.I'm just not sure who he could beat at any of the weights 133-154. Always thought he had tremendous potential but was always just one step below being one of the best at whatever weight he wrestled. I put him in the same category as a Carter Young, 100% pulling for him no matter where he wrestles, he's a Cowboy.
Can Jamison make and keep a gas tank through March?I don't see either Raney beating Jamison at 141.
I think he can but he needs to be more disciplined then he has been in the past don't let it come down to the elastic in your underwearCan Jamison make and keep a gas tank through March?
Would love to see those matches. Raneys with the offensive onslaught, Jamison with the power and strength. That would rule!I don't see either Raney beating Jamison at 141.
I thought that as well last year but now I think he may go 133 1 more year but time will tell. I don't believe that's been decided yet but it's leaning towards him being back at 133Well I'm of the thinking (at least right now) that Jax will be moving up to 141 but that's just my opinion. Plenty of time to decide that.
TJ is tough as nails so if he wins the slot then that's fine with me.
He'll be the only guy at 174 next year...I think.Norman is the best guy at 174. He'll have to worry about Ryder in 2027-2028.
Seems like it. I'm sure some guys will fill in. I would think Norman needs to be on a pitch count. He'll be the only guy at 174 next year...I think.
Exactly I don't see them having 6 165s either with one guy at 174Seems like it. I'm sure some guys will fill in. I would think Norman needs to be on a pitch count.
I think Facundo going down is a mistake. Size is not his problem. He couldn't finish shots at 74kg at Junior Pan Ams.Exactly I don't see them having 6 165s either with one guy at 174
My opinion is he was a small 174 and is a 165. But I agree he needs to start finishing at a way higher rate.I think Facundo going down is a mistake. Size is not his problem. He couldn't finish shots at 74kg at Junior Pan Ams.
I don't see either Raney beating Jamison at 141.
Agree it's just my opinion. The cut to 141 won't be easy for Raney eitherThere were a lot of people last summer saying the same thing about Sergio Vega.
Yep Jayden the smaller one 2024 Ironman finals in OT. Jax has jumped many levels since then and Jayden hasn't progressed at the same levelYou are aware that one of the Raney's beat Jax Forest once. Was not that big of an upset.
Holy shite! Me and Corb actually agree on something lol! No secret Im a Tagen fan, but you know who else is? DT and JK. Theres a reason for that. After his knee surgery early last summer I think the plan was for Tagen to come bk at second semester. As late as the golf tourney he was holding around 150 I heard and felt great. Heard after NDI he was told to gain weight. I think the problem later on was it took a lot longer to get cleared on his knee than anyone thought it would. Great kid, great family, and I'll be rooting for him. I could see some guys jumping in there to give him a pitch count thru the season.I don't see either Raney beating Jamison at 141.
I cant remember who Vega really beat out for the spot? With Tagens surgery that never really happened. There were a lot of people last summer saying the same thing about Sergio Vega.
He beat out Carter Young didn’t he?I cant remember who Vega really beat out for the spot? With Tagens surgery that never really happened.
Correct! My memory is crap lol.He beat out Carter Young didn’t he?
