BTW - I don’t know if any of the big four professional sports here in the United States have ever seen what is going on with the New York Knicks fan base right now, not only in New York City and New Jersey, but what we have seen in Atlanta, Philadelphia, Indianapolis, and now even San Antonio. The videos of the thousands and thousands of Knick fans leaving that arena tonight is insane. … there’s a long way to go, no question, but we’re witnessing something very, very very special here right now.

Man I can only imagine how good the Knicks would look if they weren’t slow and unathletic….
The officials did everything they could to hand that game to the Spurs. They were calling phantom fouls, missed Kornet’s kick ball late, BS over and back call, etc. The Knicks shot their first free throws of the half with 2:37 left in the fourth quarter and it was only because they challenged an obvious missed call. Adam silver tried to cook the game to avoid possible sweep.
I was saying that from the second I stopped losing my mind celebrating. How on earth was that not a pick and roll Aly-oop to Wendy on that play? How do you not set that play up during the timeout? Horrible head coaching!!!
Would love to get a ref who is now told to give the Knicks everything in game 3
And when the spurs complain just look at them and tell them you had your chance last game
I want to see one game where KAT gets the SGA whistle , KAT would have 35 and 20 and only 35 cause he sat the final 9 mins with the Knicks up 30

Nah, his father has nothing to do with it, the NBA just wants seven games and that Tony Brothers guys is just a Spurs pocket ref. Dude loves them.
Some bad calls but Harper was getting bumped / pushed every time he took it to the paint. Refs weren’t calling much. The tech on Mitch was awful. The KAT hook was incidental but I can see real time how that one get missed. The Tony Brothers call from afar on KAT was bad as well.
I also remember Castle getting hammered a couple times with no call. It was rough out there.

Their guard I'm most worried about is definitely Fox, I'm glad he didn't take the last shot. He had a great game seven, so thought he was healthy coming in, but didn't look good in game one, but was 8-12 last night with 20 pts. Prob still banged up.

Spurs played the dumbest basketball in the second half I’ve ever seen in my life.
He definitely gets the goat horns for this one. Had multiple bad plays in the last few minutes before that gaffe.
The Knicks played horrible basketball in the first half and the Spurs were just as bad in the second half. It comes down to making shots and the Spurs seem to get tired in the fourth quarter.Rght now I see the Knicks winning the NBA Championship in the sixth game at MSG.
I can’t even begin to express what last night was like in the bar I was at in JC….and am thanking GOD that the next game is Saturday night (I don’t think I fell asleep until 2 AM and I’m already awake trouble falling back to sleep lol…..)…OH MY GOD!!!!

BTW - the officiating was still questionable last night. There was a clear goaltending that should’ve been called on the Spurs in the first half, a ball that clearly went off of Wendy’s hands that was given to the Spurs under the basket, and it just seemed like a lot of ticket-tak fouls on The Knicks, especially those two on KAT to start the game.
I haven’t seen the Knicks have a more improbable comeback since Phil Jackson guarding the inbounds jumping around like a crazy man caused 4 straight turnovers allowing the Knicks to come back from 10 points down with 10 seconds left to win it in regulation around 50 years ago. This was before the 3 point shot, but the Knicks were fouled and made their and one three straight times. Arguably this was just as improbable and even more impressive because it was the NBA finals and the Knicks held the Spurs down the entire second half. Hopefully, the Knicks have one more great game in them. Its been a long time since their last championship!
