My heart wants one thing but my mind is telling me another. I like to follow my heart. State wins the first 2 and headed to Omaha.

I'm gonna say UGA in three because 1) that has been the most common outcome for us in big series, and 2) need to balance out the positivity in this thread for superstitious purposes

Somebody please tell Kevin Milewski that it is ok to swing before he gets two strikes. It seems like he always takes until he gets two strikes and then is trying to hit junk with two strikes. I swear it seems like he has gotten a hit every time that he swings early in the count.

It's actually my logical mind that says we sweep the first two. We're playing well right now and have enough pitching to be elite for 2 games. Got a bunch of lefties who can go yard more easily. Stumpy and Phelps being out obviously. Statistically hard to beat teams 5 or 6 times in a row.

My heart says we get an outstanding pitching performance and lose 2-1 on Saturday and then fall apart 14-4 on Sunday.
State fan PTSD. We all know.

I'll be shocked if MSU wins the first game. Why-because Georgia coach is banned from the game, one of their best players is banned from the game, and the early start all which favor MSU. State always blows those type games.

State may win the second games but not the series, but I'm guessing we go 0-2. Hope I'm wrong. I do think State would win any of the other regionals but we got the worst matchup.

I predict Bulldogs win in 3. Unfortunately, most likely the wrong Bulldogs. :(

I've yet to see us beat an elite team in a close game all year so until I see it there is no way for me to believe we can do it. We are 0-10 in games decided by 2 runs or less this season against teams that finished above us in the SEC standings plus UCLA and USM. None of the regional games were close nor were they against elite teams.
So let's beat them in a not-so-close game. I'd be tickled $hitless with a 9-2 win
