I believe we're done. Kam and / or Hawthorne will see some time at the 2 and both could play some 3 while Momcilovic plays the four(if needed). I believe McBride and N'Diaye will split the four minutes; both are stretch fours.

Man I’ll be shocked if it’s more than a Walker Horn type dude. Already a lot of mouths to feed…and pay.

People will look at the 2 spot, but I think we’ll just go big and try to steal some minutes for Kam and Braydon there.
I actually think Hawthorne might start at the two, allowing Wilkins to be the top reserve at the 1 and 2.

IMO we should leave the spot open in case there is a mid season HS reclass, or potential transfer in to practice the 2nd half of the season to play the following year or something like that. we dont need to fill the whole roster.

I'd still like one more functional guard. If Zoom or Wilkins get hurt I'm worried about what's behind them. Hopefully Mason is ready to play actual SEC minutes.

You know he’s like 6’9”-6’10” and has been discussed even at center? Wilkins needs to log a lot of minutes.
I know his height and he has been discussed at center by pretty much nobody. He is a 190 pound wing who was a guard before a growth spurt and probably handles the ball a little better than Kam Williams who has been discussed at the 2. People make way too much of height, imo.

This is the obvious issue numbers wise with the current roster, if Diallo or Wilkins go down we're ******. But it should be fine, our guards never get hurt.

I posted in the other thread that I like the idea of these two:

Noam Dovrat from Miami (Isreal), a good shooting backup combo-guard just to have another option there with Morton.

Another Israeli player is Ron Zipper, a similar combo guard that was at LSU last year.

I don’t think you could get someone much better than either of them as they would provide some intriguing guard depth, but may not be put off by getting 9th-10th man minutes.
