Whatever you do..Install a soft start on the unit and it’ll last a hell of lot longer. If you’re already paying for an install then buy the soft start kit off Amazon and have them do it. It reduces the ampage surge on the compressor when it cranks up and will increase the life of your unit..

Alright, got the quote back finally. Seems to be a decent price, at least close to what I was expecting. MS power give a $200 per ton rebate and $100 rebate on wifi thermostats. Seem reasonable to yall?

Appears to be on par with what I have seen recently for a comparable system in Metro Jacktown

Seems like a good deal to me.

I know the American market hasn't fully embraced minisplits, but if your floor plan allows it, consider it. I put a 2 head unit in my basement for my office and game room, and it's the best conditioned floor in my house. Whisper quiet, super efficient, and the dry setting will allow you to hang meat.

Just got two for my house. Used a local company, and the guy said the existing one in the basement was overpriced because the previous person based it solely on square footage. Wasn’t running enough to deal with humidity.

I got Goodman for both. He has a premier brand option too but the Goodman warranty was the same and it was $3k cheaper. I think I got a 4 and a 2.5 for about $17k and got $1k rebate
