Don’t under estimate the mid range game Brea developed. It always helps a shooter to see a couple if shots go down

The Milwaukee Momba is a more polished version of Brea with a deeper bag, and his defensive metrics are better over multiple seasons. Rich man's version.

LMAO, John Wall or DJ Wagner, who ya got?
Now that is ridiculous and I get the point you're trying to make.....

Not the same as comparing a senior that just withdrew from the draft to a player that is already established in the NBA.

I like Mom and think he's a great addition. I also think y'all are over hyping the man. Do y'all remember Brea shot 50% from three most of that season? There's not this large gap between them like y'all are saying.

It's really just a Cope for Pope and the only option BBN has currently because recruiting has been so terrible that now we have to pretend this mom guy is the next Jordan.

15 to 17 losses loading up. Call me a troll. But when it happens what will you call me?

Also this guy is supposed to be way better than Brea but iowa state just kicked our butt a few months ago and I don't even remember this guy playing. To anybody thinking he's some savior type of player I'll apologize in advance.

Yeah i’m not willing to say theres this massive gap until i see Mom do it here. I loved Koby Brea. He had a lot of really good moments here. Including a shooting master class against the eventual national champions.

He's not a "savior" ... nobody I have heard is saying that. He IS a difference maker. That's the position he resides in for our team next year.

That said, I DO remember him lighting us up for 20 points in the NCAAT game. I might be old but I don't have *that* short of a memory. And that's ok that you don't remember, No J. It was a "quiet" 20.

Just try to remember this post this upcoming year when you see Momcilovic put up another "quiet" 20+ points in a game. A couple times over. Some might not quite be so "quiet."

I'll go on record as saying I have watched him for the past 3 years ( the last two most intently) and his shot is smooth and poised as we have had in ages here. And having a player like him ??? .... Rupp Arena is going to flip out when he lights it up. I kept saying to myself over the past 2 years .... "Man I wish Momcilovic could light it up for Kentucky at Rupp Arena like that ...."

And now, just look at what wishful thinking got me ? Milan is going to suit up for us next year !!! We got him thru the portal .... I'll take it. Absolutely. Maybe I should "wish" more often, eh?

Get ready .... Big Chill is coming !

Go Big Blue !

Both were highly coveted out of the portal.

Teams that recruited Brea:
  • Duke
  • Kansas
  • North Carolina
  • UConn
The topic has already been posted. Egads. Brea was a 6 man on Dayton. Milan was the go to scorer on a F4 caliber team.

Brea's true suitors were UConn and UK, UConn backed off once they landed Mahaney (brutal choice for them).

Momcilovic from 3 last season: 136 makes on 279 attempts (48.7%); scoring 16.9 PPG

Koby Brea from 3 at UK: 93 makes on 214 attempts (43.5%); scoring 11.6 PPG

I loved having Brea. But I would easily take Momcilovic. Bigger volume and makes from 3, bigger body, bigger scoring role. Momcilovic fits perfectly on this years' team.
