I am so glad that she is a Tarheel. Now, if we can get another top 5 or 10 recruit to come in from the 2027 class that would be great.
Great questions and good answers. I have these players in the 2027 and 2028 are looking at these videos. We have got to get a top 10 recruits in one of those classes or both classes to want to come and play at the hill. I know I would.
So these stories are nice on both the men’s and women’s side. I do wonder how much different it is for these coaches who have been around the game for 10+ years to sit there and feign the joy of getting a recruit when you know you just signed them to X thousands of dollars. That’s assuming we weren’t paying recruits under the table of course.
Maybe it doesn’t change that much because other schools are paying kids as well, but it feels like some of that excitement wouldn’t be there.
