NCAA Baseball Tournament (other than Nebraska)

I’m all for showing some emotion, but it does appear he is taunting the opponent’s dugout which is a no-no. The defense was that he was actually yelling to his family sitting right behind the dugout, which I have no idea if it’s true or not. But I don’t blame the umpire for running him. College players seem more over-the-top with this kind of thing lately and I would like to see it clamped down on. But then again, I’m just an old man yelling at a cloud.
That’s what I thought when i looked at a second time . He clearly made a gesture towards that area.and obviously the second baseman thought was taunting the dugout. It also appears he spent a little too much time rounding the bases . Like you I don’t mind a celebration but kind of act like you have done before. Like you I am older and maybe I just get all the celebrations anymore
I wonder if he said something on the way around? I hope so... cause both him, and the ump, over reacted IMO. Yeah I don't love his antics, but given the circumstances, I get the emotion.
It really is and the NCAA does such a crap job marketing this!
This would be a Cinderella upset if this was March Madness but the NCAA just refuses to treat the regionals as part of the CWS.

Yeah, that kid went crazy with his celebration. Even the second basemen was like "What are you doing"
It’s just Crazy. I know there were upsets . But you look around at some of these regionals . Why were 3 top 25 teams at times ( Neb. ASU and Ole Miss) put in the same regional ?
Looks like Trev will not be strutting around a Super Regional. So that’s a plus.
If his former coach he ran off wins another one at Texas Trev might be in trouble. His Basketball hire better work out ( made the NCAA this year ). I talked to some A$M people in OKC. They didn’t say anything bad about Trev, but they didn’t say anything good either.
It was puzzling to me. I think Schloss might be the best coach in college baseball. He leads A&M to the CWS Finals and Trev just lets him walk to their hated rival? I can see two possibilities:
1. Trev really doesn’t value college baseball
B. Trev knew Schloss was already gone and he wasn’t going to play games
Either way, A&M fans will hold it against Trev every time Texas has a more successful season, which will be pretty much every year.
Like Trev, Schlossnagle got offered more money and - at least arguably - a better job with a higher ceiling.
Unlike Trev, he didn't feel the need to play the victim or act like he'd been mistreated. He just took the bigger payday.
schloss is very close friends with our AD. They kept in close touch when CDC came to Austin. I think Schloss was just waiting for the chance to work for CDC again. I don't think the Ags failed. I don't think there was anything they could have done to stop him from the move because of his relationship with our AD. I think Trev realized that.
I also think calling him the best coach in college baseball is premature. He has to win a title to even be considered one of the best. Jay at LSU would be my pick for best coach.
All right everybody. I just got a text from planored. It seems that Arkansas-Little Rock won their regional. They are now headed to Troy, Alabama to face the Troy Trojans in a best-of-three Super Regional series that will take place June 5-8. The winner of that series will advance to the CWS in Omaha! I know who I'm going to be rooting for!
I really would like to see KU come to Omaha.
More teams that haven’t ever been here would make this a very fun CWS.
If Planored is a golfer, tell him to pack the sticks. There’s a Robert Trent Jones golf trail in the Troy area.
Was in Troy on business quite a few years ago - it’s a nice place.

I think UNC was on top at that time.
