$8 million for MM
$3.5 million for Moreno ($11.5 total)
$2ish million for Zoom ($13.5 total)
$2ish million for Wilkins ($15.5 total)
$1ish million for McBride ($16.5 total)
$1ish million for N'Diaye ($17.5 total)
$1ish million for Kam ($18.5 total)
$1ish million for Potter/Noah/Morton/Mo Williams combined ($19.5 total)
$1ish million for Hawthorne ($20.5 total)
$1ish million for Kepnang ($21.5 total)

I actually think this is pretty conservative. We're in the +$20 million range, and that makes me happy. I'm glad the boosters gave Pope one last shot at this to prove what he can do.

I believe you're very close to the actual number, maybe about a half million more between Potter, Morton, and Mason Williams and maybe another half each for McBride and N'Diaye. I don't know this for sure but I believe Noah is doing his own private NIL and is thus a zero as far as what UK is spending.

Now we need good health so there are not any excuses.

Being reported Milan’s around 6 million.

Where u come up with these numbers?
It's only logical. Milan is being reported (Norlander, Goodman, etc.) to have received somewhere between $6.5 to $8 million. It's only reasonable to believe that Zoom/Wilkins got at least 1/3 of that asking price, based on competitive need and where the NIL market is at right now.

We should probably start taking Norlander, Goodman, etc. more seriously considering they have hundreds of coaching sources that are feeding them the asking prices.

Just because they aren't going on record with coaching names doesn't mean they're making it all up.

Milan NIL value was around 2 Mil and it's reported he got more then triple that.
Considering Alvaro Folgueiras got more than 3.3 from Lil Brother I highly doubt Milan’s value was 2. Don’t look at the ON3 values as they aren’t anywhere close to the actual going rate for players this portal season.

That being said it seems our roster will fall between 22-25 million which is not in the top 5 of spends this season and possibly not top 10. Some teams are north of 30.

Ndiaye is undoubtedly higher. No way he leaves a pro league to come here for just that. Id say 3 mil.

Hawthorne is probably higher too especially when you consider we had to bring his brother too to keep him. So they as a pair are probably getting 2 mil when you account for the rev share boost to brother.

My question in all this, who will be the leader of this team?
Every great team has a true leader; having a group of talented players needs that one person who can step up and take charge when the chips are down.

Who is it going to be?

I'm not sure it matters. there is no spending cap. every team in the top 10 is north of $20M. you either play the game or end up with a roster of nothing. its not like the guys at florida or michigan are playing there for a massive discount.

I think the total is probably pretty close. I think Milan less, Zoom and Wilkins more. But some of that comes from just clean rounding that you used which was appreciated.

Our budget seems very similar and more than enough to compete even as many more teams upped their budgets from last season like Sean Miller alluded to.
