I’ve heard that all week. Let’s get someone to start signing please. I’m glad we always have a shot, I’d love to start landing them.

Of all the players that could be considered, if one were to have told me last season that Kentucky could get Momcilovic, I would have been 100 percent on board with it. I watched quite a bit of Iowa State games with him on the roster, he always impressed me very much.
If we get him on our team, it is gonna be obvious that the big guy is an A+ asset to us, especially, I would think, playing an important cog in CMP's schemes. When he gets hot from deep, the game is over. He can take it over - just like that. Other teams would be like .... what I was saying last year about the Cyclones - point #1 - don't let Momcilovic get hot.
It would be great to be able to say that with him wearing Kentucky blue this upcoming season.

Well, he didn't sign "right this second" when I posted this on April 14. And I don't know, or care, what Kentucky paid him.
But I actually had a strong feeling back then it would play out this way. Not sure why I felt that way.
And yes, I'd still rather have an experienced college player who shot nearly 50 percent for 3 for a very good Iowa State team playing in a strong conference against often elite competition than an egomaniac freshman who seemed to play in stretches when it suited him during the all star games, and looked pretty ordinary much of the time.
But I actually had a strong feeling back then it would play out this way. Not sure why I felt that way.
