This is the reliever that just threw 100 pitches for GT. Is it me, or does this guy appear to have been a pretty full participant in 6 seasons of Atlanta area college baseball??

The ACC has been awful in the regionals. If Oklahoma pulls this off, the only ACC team to advance to the supers is North Carolina.

GT’s bullpen is obviously terrible. They led 8-2 yesterday and lost 15-8. They led 7-3 today and pitched their best bullpen guy 6.1 innings and he threw 100 pitches until he absolutely ran out of gas. They then pitched a starter in the 9th. I guess they didn’t need a lot of bullpen depth in the schitty ACC.
Walk off homer in the 10th for Oklahoma after GT brought their Friday starter in to pith in the 9th.
The 8 hole hitter batting .230 just melted that one to dead center. 450 feet.
I though it was a fly out the way he reacted, but I think he was just shocked he hit it that hard.

I'll fully acknowledge I didn't expect GT to be threatened before a Super. This tournament is clearly anybody's to win.

Hopefully it will be us but I have said from the start that we were given the hardest Super Regional matchup in the tournament. Georgia went 23-7 in the SEC and undefeated in the SEC tournament. I would have taken UCLA or GT in a heartbeat over them. And any other SEC team over them. If we get to Omaha we will have a good chance because we would have already taken out what is likely the best team in the country.
