Moments like that are why we love college sports. I hate that due to the current nature of college sports, those moments may be few and far between going forward.

That's awesome! I watched him break down in the outfield and I know that he was thinking about what it took for him to stand there on that day and that it's all done. It's a testament to what hard work and determination can get you. He's not the biggest or the best, but he's a damn good ballplayer and teammate.
I don’t know the full history and I also know Lemonis gets a lot of grief on here, but watching him finish the game last night I wondered how many guys besides Lemonis would’ve given him a chance (no pun intended) when he first walked on.
For me at least, I don't have any ill will towards Lemonis. He appears to be a good coach in a lot of ways and and a perfectly decent human being. I could see him being generous towards Chance and giving him an opportunity that the kid proved he deserved, but might not have gotten from a different coach.
CL just, unfortunately, lost some level of focus after that natty and it cost our program and ultimately cost him his job. I wish him well and will root for him wherever he lands.
