No UK only has to beat wvu one and wvu has to beat uk twice.
Ouch bases loaded 1 out and 2 runs already in and back to back K's looking to end the inning still down 3-2 could had a monster inning
1) UK has 3 runs and feels like they should have 6.
2) Can anyone on UK’s team hit for power? At least square balls up?
3) There’s ZERO reason back-to-back guys should strike out looking with bases loaded.
4) Pitching…. my god.
5) I get that Bell has a lot of MLB hype, but he’s been flat-out horrible this regional.

It’s so hard to watch the college game.
Even high school is a better product.

This home plate ump is HORRIBLE. That ball he called Jenkins out on was about 8 inches outside.
Why do you not bunt with two on and a 9 hole hitter up to bat that watches his third strike? And why are we swinging at 3-0 pitches?
I just don’t understand why basic fundamentals are worse at the college level than high school.

I have thought for years that even though NFL talent is at a higher level than collge football talent, the quality of the college game is just as good. The same goes for NBA vs college basketball. However, that can't be said for MLB vs college baseball. College baseball looks like little leauge when compaired to MLB. Maybee it has something to do with the tallented players going straight to MLB instead of college. I still watch when UK is in the post season.
Its not just pitchiing. The the fielding errors are just as bad.
I think this can actually make college baseball more entertaining. MLB fielders are so good that it’s boring. Pop ups and balls hit to the infield are almost like extra point kicks in football, you already know they’re gonna nearly automatically make the play every time.
But with college there’s some real suspense in it.
How do you get the first two batters on base and then fail to even advance them?
Love the Bell HR earlier, but that was another AB that was completely worthless. Looked checked out at the plate.
This team is really bad at times with runners in scoring position. Just hope it doesn’t come back to bite them tonight. And for the love of god, can Mingione PLEASE get a few legit power hitters? I’m tired of looking at our 3/4 guys In the line-up with less than 10 HRs.
