WWE's YT channel. The specials are always there. AAA's channel as well but it's Spanish only commentary, which you'd expect lol.Is there any way to watch that match on streaming or something?
Goodness no. But I have it through my spectrum package. Is anyone paying $10 per match for Ruca/Becky, Cargill/Ripley and Reigns/Fatu (maybe)? ESPN Unlimited really only offers that and MLB league pass which I have no interest in. Why would I pay $30 for an hour and a half of programming per month?
Also the first hour is on espn I guess it’s a hook to get subs but still.Goodness no. But I have it through my spectrum package.
Here's the secret to getting a good match rating on Cagematch: Have a good wrestling match. Problem is that WWE rarely ever actually does that because the people that run main roster WWE hate wrestling and have taught their fans that the actual wrestling is the least important part of sports entertainment. That match last night is a great example of what WWE can have if they just let their stupid bullcrap stop getting in the way.I refuse to beleive that. I’ve been told here that cage match hates WWE and nukes their matches!
I think WWE has good in-ring quality these days. You’re right that it isn’t the focus — I’m not sure that is a bad thing. Their selling point is the larger-than-life spectacle. Here's the secret to getting a good match rating on Cagematch: Have a good wrestling match. WWE can have that almost every week if they put in the time and just let him do what he does best.Really impressed with Gable during the match…easily the best I’ve ever seen him look.
How many people actually vote on there tho? Here's the secret to getting a good match rating on Cagematch: Have a good wrestling match. So what would that make TNA? A low budget Sci Fi Channel original movie like Sharktopus?I think WWE has good in-ring quality these days. You’re right that it isn’t the focus — I’m not sure that is a bad thing. Their selling point is the larger-than-life spectacle.
WWE is like watching a Marvel movie.
AEW is like watching the Sopranos.
Both are excellent — they just have different beats and elements to the story. They have a different feel and almost a different genre. They aren’t really trying to draw the same audience.

Couldn't agree more. They have a different feel and almost a different genre. They aren’t really trying to draw the same audience.
Given AMC and how terrible their product allegedly is, they are the 27th spinoff of The Walking Dead that no one gives a crap about. So what would that make TNA? A low budget Sci Fi Channel original movie like Sharktopus?
Something like The Wire would be more appropriate. Sopranos was a ratings juggernaut. The Wired did decently but was never remotely close to being at the level of the Sopranos. And people talked about it getting canceled every year.I think WWE has good in-ring quality these days. You’re right that it isn’t the focus — I’m not sure that is a bad thing. Yeah but longer doesn't mean better. Savage Steamboat was 12 minutes long.Couldn't agree more.
You can still have high quality wrestling without sacrificing the rest though. That doesn't mean every match has to be 20-30 minutes, but this 10-minute or less nonsense they pulled at WrestleMania for 7 of the 12 matches (Oba-Lesnar match excluded because that's the way it should have been) is doing everyone a disservice.
Well, maybe it’s more nuanced.Couldn't agree more.

Problem is that the modern WWE match is so slow paced that an sub 10-minute match has barely started warming up by the point it reaches it's conclusion.Yeah but longer doesn't mean better. Savage Steamboat was 12 minutes long.
Cactus Jack and Sting was like 8 or 9.
It's all in how you book it. The problem is their booking has been stale af.
Honestly AAA is by far the best WWE product rn imo. Their Worlds Collide show last year was a blast and they've been cooking ever since
I don’t mind the kickouts when the situation merits it. Otherwise the match is over when you hit the finisher. I understand that is the very point — but you lose drama there. In high profile matches where both guys are kicking out of finishers, you really do experience the unpredictability of “is the match over?” that doesn’t exist thirty years ago.Probably my biggest old man gripe about wrestling is hating the multiple finishers and kicking out of them every match. There are literally 1004 holds and moves you can use per Chris Jericho.
Just pick one of the others and use your finisher to end the match.
Rant over.
Mine is the go over there, get in this wholly unnatural position that you've never been in your life and wait for me to do my hold. The Cody Cutter. The RKO out of nowhere. At least he opened up a thesaurus and learned to say something besides new era for the 178th time.
Sure, but 7 is overboard. Like when Cody would hit a million Cross Rhodes back to back in AEW.I don’t mind the kickouts when the situation merits it. I don't disagree. That's why I said "when the situation merits it". I think if people want to see less kick-outs of finishers, you'd need to go back to the old-school philosophy where a conditional basic maneuver can finish a match more often.Sure, but 7 is overboard. So what do you want exactly? Reigns isn't walking away. Cody isn't walking away. Gunther has already been champion multiple times. Jey got his moment. Punk was just champion and currently on a break. Randy is basically part time. Knight as champion probably won't happen because he botches moves once a month. Fatu is working injured and they're extending his BL story. They're not ready to have Oba dominate Cody or Roman. They may be saving Breakker for a Rumble win next year, etc.Or actually nothing really changed.
Don't say new era or something to that effect every three weeks? So what do you want exactly? Reigns isn't walking away. Cody isn't walking away. Gunther has already been champion multiple times. I get things have been dull but I'm unsure what fans actually want. Roman is in Hogan terrority. He's not losing the title a couple months before SS in Italy on a Sunday afternoon after he just won it last month. As far as the Bloodline story continuing, it worked for four years. I can see why they want to milk it some more. The MFT thing sucks but they're not firing Solo and it'd be weird if we just pretended he wasn't part of the family.
Sure, which is why most fans don't listen to him. Most shouldn't listen to TK either. They're soundbite machines and in their worlds, everything is wonderful. They're trying to sell the product to you. Booker said recently that if Fatu doesn't win then it's just the same ole same ole. You can't expect Reigns to lose the title in Italy in May after he won it at Mania the month before. WWE isn't hot potatoing world titles often and Reigns, whether fans like it or not, is rarely going to lose.Don't say new era or something to that effect every three weeks?
He says that way more frequently than when Tony Khan would spam major/important/etc. news.
I'm just making fun of Triple H spamming new era rhetoric like he's Brock Lesnar spamming the F5.Sure, which is why most fans don't listen to him. Most shouldn't listen to TK either. Some want the most successful storyline in years dropped because they've made the decision it's over. The only thing that ended was Cody's story. He finished it. He didn't finish the Bloodline.
Some never want Reigns to have the title again, even though he's this generation's guy, still looks great, and still gets the biggest reaction anywhere in the world.
Some want Cody to turn heel when WWE still sees major money in him as a face.
If it were up to fans, Brock would be banned, Reigns would be midcard, Cody a heel, and Drew would never lose. And then Raw would average 5,000 fans.
