Fran apologists gonna thump their chests? That ranking would be mostly his fault
Not completely surprising. Fran had the Hawks in the serious conversation of being a sweet 16 or better in multiple tournaments. His style of play and roster construction just didn't produce in the tournament.... I'm sure multiple of those seasons the final KenPom was MUCH better than the NCAA round that they finished.... Which is a problem that kept occuring for Fran.
Then a couple of seasons missing the tournament was clearly the time to move on.

This just came up on my Google feed and I was going to post it but I am glad I saw your thread before I did a “Pepsi.”
I’m sure Iowa State fans are thrilled by this ranking. I guess KenPom is no longer credible.
