Lockett wins by first period Tech fall over Jacob herm South Dakota state. Two takedowns and 3 turns.
Kody Routledge wins 8-7 over Will Denny.
Wadsen with a quick 10-0 tech . Shocked me he was 3-2 at 184 at SD St last year
Looked like freestyle inexperience to me.
Tanner Hodgins up next on mat 3
I have to admit that was very disappointing but could be tied to lack of freestyle experience. White lost 10 to 0 with 1 series of head pinches and gut wrenches. Not a great start for White but he only has 1 direction to go.
Agree. Gator roll, gator roll, gut x3. All freestyle points. White did look noticeably smaller to me. Wonder if he’s a full size 184?
That is a great win forKody. Heis not your average back up. Denny is a good wrestler.
Tanner Hodgins won by pin. The other guy may have looked better on their feet but Hodgins looked like a hammer on top.
Holman appeared very out of shape and had a lead but lost it and as I have said our biggest worry with Holman is if he will pin himself and he did.
Disappointing on White and Holman results, Holman more than White since White is really inexperienced.
Dee up next on mat 4. Ronnie won 13-6.
Dee and Routledge both win, will wrestle each other in finals. Tanner Hodgins up next on mat 2.
Hodgins loses 7-6 to Adam Waters. Wrestled him tough.

Hodgins did wrestle Waters tough, which I am real glad to see. Ross pinned Bechtold in 1st period. I also saw where the guy who teched White pushed Mantanona to 13 to 13 criteria. He must be a freestyle expert. Dee and Rutledge both won and will be squaring off against each other.
Ramirez lost 3 to 2 giving up a takedown with few seconds. Ronnie's problem was he did not score any offensive points he was ahead on 2 passivity points and tried to just hold on. You could see Ronnie getting in worse and worse positions until he gave up the takedown against Burnett.
Dee beats Kody, 4-1. Ladd lost 13-4. Michael white up next on mat 3.
Michael white wins 14-10, Dreshaun wins 11-0, and Tanner lost 11-19
White is really good on his feet. Explosive! You can tell he has little FS experience.
