University of Texas San Antonio

Oof, likely no degree and maybe overseas and then some minimum wage job.

John Thompson had a deflated basketball on his desk at GT and would ask players what would happen after the ball stops bouncing.

Our guys before NIL can give a tutorial - Theodore, Grant, Danny Hurley, Karnishovas, Bryant, Whitehead, Griffin, plenty more.

The darkside of NIL.....many players are left with no or terrible options.

Swagggzy -- Welcome to the American Athletic Conference. Hopefully Coleman doesn't have monthly payments on the Mercedes - $1.5MM to probably $150K

I appreciate this thread and always find it interesting to see where our former players land. Epecially Coleman because there were such heated debates between the low IQ and high IQ fans on whether or not we should retain him. Water always finds its level, and I feel this validates the high IQ crowd who said let Coleman walk for $1.5M. He had artificially inflated stats because he was the only option on a historically bad team.

He's a 6th or 7th man on any of Willard's good teams.

A wise man once said “sticks and stones may break my bones, but names will never harm me”. NIL & name calling is harming this thread/site. 😵💫😰

This is exactly it.

It’s the posters that believe some ex player would be the answer.

To me it wasn’t even the terrible metrics Coleman had, but also his on court demeanor and checked out behavior. Put the two together and you get UTSA.

Coleman may have some deeper issue with substance abuse, eg., his DUI. He seemed to be sick often when he was with us. If he indeed has a problem, I hope he gets help. He has a lot of talent but his diminished performance last season at Oklahoma might be linked to this issue.

one DUI doesnt mean a problem a mistake sure, but dont label without more

He had a DUI in July 2025.
Then an aggravated DUI in Nov. 2025.
That looks like a prob to me.
The second one almost certainly isn't the same Isaiah Coleman.

Lawton, OK is 150 miles from Stillwater, OK. Oklahoma State had a 2 PM game on November 16 -- the day after the alleged incident -- and played 28 minutes.

Given Coleman was suspended for an off-court incident later in the season, I'd suspect OSU would have suspended him for a second DUI in four months.
