Congratulations, Lexington. You did it. A top-10 ranking for the best food in the United States. This isn’t KSR’s opinion, but that of Condé Nast Traveler, which does fun things like rank cities based on their cuisine. UK thought it was important enough to make a social media graphic, so who are we to ignore it? 1. Oakland, CA 2.New Orleans, LA 3..Milwaukee, WI 4.Chicago, 5. San Francisco, CA 6.. Lexington, KY 7. Any on one of these list that doesn’t include Cincinnati, is a fraud!

I’ve lived in Columbus (ranked here), Indianapolis, Louisville, and Cincinnati, and I’ve got Cincy ahead of those 3, and throw in Lexington for good measure as well!… Not by much, but still ahead💯💯

I dunno I personally think
columbus has a much better food scene than cincy. Mainly due to all the high quality Cameron Mitchell joints. Don’t know about Indy. Saying Lexington is better than NYC is laughable though.

Only thing good I've had in Lexington is an Old Fashioned at Nick & Norman's. Easily the best OF I've ever had (and I sat there and had three one night!). Pies & Pints can sometimes surprise me with a good pizza.

Sorry, but I really have to question whatever methodology was used for that particular list.

Coles on Main and East End Tap are pretty good. But Lexington ranked top 6 by Conde Nest is silly. Probably not top 60

Many of Cincy's top restaurants unfortunately are in the hood.
