If a 24-team playoff had existed since 2014, NU would've made it...

Tied with 10 other prigrams, including Wisky and Sparty (and Miami!) with 4.

No Nebby...

Despite this, still hear the Cats being considered a bottom rung program by many in the media.

If EvanstonCat was a dwarf, he’d be the world’s tallest.

I am personally anti-24 teams, but whatever happens, happens...I'm not going to pretend like I wouldn't have been excited for us to make it even as a low seed.

The regular season won’t matter when this happens. Sad. A complete devaluation of a formerly great game.

^ There are pros and cons.

Pros being that we will see more good OOC games (USC-Domers will be back on) and more meaning in games where teams are fighting for the last 7-8 spots (so more meaningful games towards the end of the season).

Games like UM-dOSU have already been "devalued" by the 12- game PO, so won't really make a difference there.

Btw, it's been pretty hilarious seeing SEC coaches take potshots at other conferenes (particularly the B12), as well as with each other ("basketweaving" at Ol' Mss), with Sankey looking foolish trying to still peddle that his conference is "far superior" to the B1G.
