This dude may be a baller. He's only 5'8", but is built strurdy. Won the 100m and 200m UIL Texas state championship. 10.02 100m! That's blazing and is faster than what any of the current Olympic 100 meter guys ran the 100 at his age. He is in elite air on the track. I would assume he will also run track at MSU, but I haven't heard anyone really mention him. Any thoughts?

Does he have any offensive lineman at his school that can block so our QB will have a chance to throw it to him?

But can he catch?
I member us having an elite 100m guy on the team at the end of Croom’s run or maybe early on with Dan. He was able to get open, but I’m not sure he ever caught a pass.

Am I hearing that right? He just destroyed a 35 year old 200 meter state record by like half a second??

ETA I think it was the 3A record he destroyed.

Would not risk a football injury - that is incredible track speed and he should have a future there - unless he grows 4 inches he's not built for football

Back in the 1960’s we had a guy like that named Marcus Rhoden. Small white guy that could fly. It was all great until some linebacker from, I think , Southern Miss broke him in half and left him for dead. He was dangerously injured with spleen damage as I recall. Don’t think he ever played again. I hope this guy has a better fate.
