I know you’ll spin anything to be pro-Trump and a positive, but the reality is, this is a bad thing for the Republican Party. The party is gone. It’s all about Trump. Trump is a legitimately bad person, by any measure … and he’s a horrible President. He doesn’t stand for anything … except for himself. He changes his stances, and you guys just embrace it.
But he’s overall hugely unpopular, and becoming less so. He only resonates with his cult members. So, not only does this not bode well in the short term for the fate of Republican candidates, it spells doom for the Party once he’s gone. It’s just going to be a complete void.

Replace Paxton's name with Trump and you can keep the rest of the message the same. A lot of interchangeable Republican names fit that message.
