I don’t think they have the pitching to get all the way to Omaha? Seems they drew a tough regional.
No they won’t. But when they don’t the idiots on the board will blame Bolt and The AD and probably Rhule will get Some of the blame because he attended a game or two.
Not impossible, but a real long shot - especially when they would almost certainly have to win a Super Regional on the road.
But earning a home regional is a big step forward for the program. Winning it would be another huge milestone.

We absolutely have a shot. Sure, bats went cold in the last game against Oregon and Ohio St. even Auburn earlier this year. But man, I watched the entire season and it has been good one. Pitching was suspect many times but the bats always bailed them out. Fun team to watch and I'll guarantee I be in the stadium for the regional and I know they will put on a show.

We just don’t have a solid 3rd starting pitcher.
Hard to believe that Jake played CF and he was our 3rd day pitcher.
We are a good team. But we have suffered from some hitting droughts that have hurt us. I doubt we make it to Omaha unless we can find a way to avoid those droughts. Possible, but not likely. We are good, but inconsistent, and that will derail us I think.
I was at the game. I was in Suite 312. It was sweet. I truely thought we could have come back. But that grand slam (which should have never happened) was the nail in the coffin.
