wHo CoUlD hAvE pOsSiBlY fOrEsEeN tHiS?!?!?

They're killing the golden goose with all of this nonsense. The more fans they turn off with this crap, the less pockets they're going to have to pilfer to try to get the revenue from to offset these costs. This whole new era of NIL/transfer portal/open pay for play is absolute nonsense. If they don't put some actual laws/rules/regulations in place soon, they risk killing college sports entirely. I'll certainly never contribute to an NIL fund. What an absolutely idiotic expenditure of money.

Capitalism for the elite only! Who do these players think they are being paid what the market will give them. We need restrictions on the money they can make.

Get back to me when you have a basic foundational understanding of how economics and business actually work out here in the real world, and aren't parroting some nonsense you heard from your mom's basement while playing Call of Duty little kid.

I know they're wanting to try and add nother revenue stream with this new complex where LCC/BCTC is, but I do wonder how well that's going to go over in the offseason around here

There’s never any substance to the cucks of the Epstein class’ response. You know nothing Jon Snow… I know you’re a complete joke and a fraud. You’re literally crying about athletes getting paid what the market will give them and are begging for regulations. You know you’re a hypocrite and a fraud.

Jersey patches are a step in the right direction. Not sure why it’s taken college sports this long to figure that out. Easy money.

Alcohol…UK was a little late but that is another easy boondoggle. Offer more variety and more premium drinks.

Expanding schedules. Easy money. Replace uninteresting OOC puffs with better games that will attract more eyeballs and money.

Move OOC puffs to pre-season. Football has never exploited the summer slow sports season. Only baseball on.

These kids are paid pros now they can get their *** to campus and start playing late July early August.

Move Bowl season to early season as well. Same idea as exhibition. Late summer TV/entertainment is up for grabs.

It’s hard to sell Kentucky Iowa late season when folks are kind of burned out at the very least especially if things didn’t go as well as hoped.

Let’s see those games in August before both programs get worn down with conference schedule.

A bunch of beat up, injured, players sitting out, middling 7ish win teams are not cutting the mustard especially when the playoffs are near.

Package the whole bowl season up and sell it to YouTube, Netflix, Amazon, Apple…

MAG 7 bowls…they can pay for the rights and pay the kids.

The playoffs have already diminished the current bowl lineups. There will be no additional difficult games after going to nine conference games and another power four opponent. They are eliminating championship games. If the go to a 24 team playoff it will then diminish the regular season. I foresee a team quitting after four losses with players opting out like they do meaningless bowl games

You’re pushing the boundaries a bit here. This site doesn’t allow politics, so stop rage baiting people into topics they can’t reply to. This topic is about boosting athletic department revenue, not about which political persuasion is the correct one.

I’ll point out I’d like to see more transparency in how every dollar affects the program. I think people seeing where their money goes would encourage them to contribute more. Or vice versa.

So you support cheating and paying players under the table?

Pushing the boundaries by exposing what a fraud you are. You’re a joke with zero substance to back up anything you say. Keep crying about players getting paid and I’ll keep laughing at the joke that you are. Players getting paid paid what the market says they’re worth, if that bothers you go watch bowling.

Yeah, I don’t see it doing very well but it does seem like a cool idea, especially during FB season. The summer months and winter months, I just wonder how they can survive.

I really really hope they don’t go to 24. It will 100 percent diminish the regular season.

I cried about zero players getting paid. 🤷‍♂️
What a bizarre thing to say lol

…and I’m entirely unsure what prompted the “fraud” comments as well.
