It was May 29th last year when kickoff times were announced for the 3 preseason games, the Friday night game at Rutgers and the Nebraska game, with Homecoming kickoff narrowed to early or mid-afternoon.

So I expect similar announcements will come next week as you suggested.

I don't gamble (anymore), but cover that. Big time. That's a very good line.
I agree given the ISU major rebuild under new coaches and the Kinnick advantage. Still, (a very small) part of me wants to hedge that bet knowing it’s an in-state rivalry and that Iowa is breaking in a new QB.

My early (gut) baseline feeling is that ISU will struggle to score more than 10 points and that Iowa’s offense will at least match the 2025 average of 29 ppg. 30-10 sounds about right to me. It’s easier - this early - to foresee an Iowa 4TD blowout win than a close one-score game.

I think NBC takes the Notre Dame game the week Iowa plays Michigan. They already have a deal with them and being with the Big Ten too, I could see them snatching up that game for their night game

Indiana as the Natty Champs against Northwestern. Indiana should be undefeated yet this week. Wonder where they shall slide in.

I am not sure what network, but I see Iowa v MIchigan as a 2:30 / 3pm kick.

Stupid Question but when do tickets get sent? I always Get tickets for my kids and the grandkids for the first game. Last year I think I bought them too early as it felt like more tickets opened up after the season tickets were sent. Sorry if it is a dumb question.

There are no dumb questions.
Just no answers (currently).

I'd like the first three games to be at 11 AM. Last year was brutal to wait for games we were going to for sure dominate in. If we go into OSU undefeated, I wonder if there would be a chance to have that be a night game? Let's repeat the Woodshed from 2017.

If we beat Michigan in Ann Arbor (4-0) it seems like a night game vs. OSU might be in the cards.

Would love to see that, but even though it was 9 years ago, the bucknuts haven’t forgotten.

KF running it up on a team? Nah he will be happy with a 2 score win and shut it down in the 2nd quarter
Is KF not supposed to be happy with a 2 score win?

You guys are again proving your priorities wrong.

And again proving that all the toxicity was due to those wrong priorities, rather than legitimate football reasons

The fans haven't. The players and coaches are new. This year's OSU players were around 10-11-12 years old then. It's tough to imagine a game that happened nine years ago has any real meaning to them, one way or the other. And besides, since when does OSU need extra motivation vs. Iowa? The Buckeyes already have almost every imaginable advantage.

11 am breakfast games suck especially for those watching in pacific time zone I usually just sleep through them.

I love 11:00 games. Would prefer they all start at that time. The only exception is the first game. That is the ONLY time I like a night game….because it is usually so dang hot during the day.

Not going to be a lot of 11 AM games anymore. Last season was just Iowa St (Big Noon Sat) and Nebraska (Black Fri).

With so many broadcast options the Big Ten has, and with Big Noon Saturday being the featured Big Ten game almost every week, your game has to royally suck to be a Non-BNS 11 AM game nowadays.

Seems like season tickets get e-mailed in early August or so.

If I have to wait until 5PM (what a dumbass random time btw) on week 1 just to watch us beat the mighty NIU Huskies by 20+ points I'm gonna riot.

You might. Night games aren’t picked like it’s 2005 anymore, they’re just another tv slot for games picked over already. Could be a 630pm on BTN
