Bacon if available
GOOD tomato (heirloom, local, etc) only
BBQ sauce as condiment. Ketchup and yellow mustard are gross.
Dill pickle chips if available
Sometimes onions, but only grilled or cooked down. No raw onions.
Sometimes lettuce, but only something good like a leaf or 2 of quality butter lettuce.
Depends. If I want a Swiss mushroom burger, some ketchup and mustard. If I want one with garden fresh tomatoes, a little mayo, slice of cheese and sautéed onions. Always served medium (I love it a little pink).

Tonight I had the Stub’s Special at Stub & Herb’s in Minneapolis. Bacon, grilled mushrooms and onions, blue cheese, and 1000 island dressing. It was a little busy, but enjoyable with tots, a side salad, and some Grain Belt.
