Expectations if we land Momcilovic?

The expectations don’t change regardless. Compete to win the SEC and National titles. Otherwise, give the next guy his shot
Maybe I wasn't clear enough. I meant national expectations of the team versus how people see the roster without Momcilovic. Thanks.
I think Mom gets you about #10-12 preseason and an expectation from national folks of about a 3 seed.

I don't know what they're expectations will be, but mine will be this:
Momcilovic will be injured in the fall, sit out until early Dec, play a few games, get reinjured, then out for the season. Seems to be Pope's thing (was also somewhat a Cal thing, so maybe this is simply a UK thing?).

I mean Momcilovic definitely can’t pull a Qauntaince because Milan is just barely mocked at top 50.
False expectations leads only to more frustrations and disappointment with this current staff.Hell will freeze over before Mark Pope ever lands a top talent.
It is called a run of bad luck. It is not the fault of either coach or UK. SEC officiating is a contributing factor imo. They allow UK to get brutalized far too often.
One expectation we can count on is a bunch of entitled crybaby's having a meltdown on Rupp's Rafters.
If Momcilovic joined Kentucky, sure …you’d suddenly project as a top‑10 offense, a top‑15 team, and he’d probably put up 17–19 a night as an All‑American‑level forward.

If we add Momsilivic and retain Moreno, this roster could be good enough to win the SEC. It really all depends on Diallo and Wilkins, IMO.
Is John Calipari secretly pulling the strings in Durham? All those elite recruits, all-Americans, and lottery picks and no hardware to show for it.
I agree. We should be an NCAA 2 seed at the very least as well.

I don’t think anyone would be angry at an elite eight. I think that’s the bar for him to keep the job with or without Momcilovic
Even with Mom… I feel this team will struggle once again with defense and rebounding. Sweet 16 ceiling.

My expectations are that half the “fans” on here will tell us how he won’t make a difference or can’t guard a fence post.
Some of you are delusional. He might get us a top 20-25 ranking but that’s about it. Without him we are long way out of ranking. 32-7, really smh. Every summer some of you talk before you think.
Why worry about those? Most Kentucky fans just want to be good. There’s a few that only want to whine regardless. Their minds would never change anyway so why worry about it?
I don’t expect Milan at Kentucky. But using Evan Miya’s player ratings from last year he would be roughly a top 7-8 returner in all of college basketball. With a lackluster freshman class, that level of returner is immensely valuable.

I'm locked in at .500 in the SEC. I hope I get proved wrong in a positive way. On paper, the SEC looks better this year and Kentucky is about the same or worse. I predict a repeat of last year.

Not sure we have any player that can fill Oweh's shoes on this roster.
My expectations if we retain Moreno and sign Milan would be 7-11 losses and top 4 in SEC standings. 4 seed or better and a S16 floor/Final 4 ceiling.
