That's a drag; I always liked them back in the day, even before they found the "formula" in the late seventies and cranked out quite a few Top 40 hits. I never did figure out the "eye patch" guy...

I had never seen this video and don't think I've ever heard the song. It came out in 1982, made it to #25, curious I never heard it before. Not surprised I didn't see the video as we didn't have cable TV back then.

The woman in the video is Randi Brooks, and she definitely made those blue jeans talk! It is a little creepy by today's standards, but definitely tongue in cheek. And it is reminiscent of the whole tight designer jean fad that was going on back then.

One of my favorite patients was named Sylvia. I couldn't say her name without singing the song, at least in my head. Her mother came with her sometimes to pick her up from appointments...always a highlight to meet Sylvia's mother.....
