From what I read , providence is HOF classic in Dec. Hall plays in Tip off classic in Nov . Different things
The Hall of Fame Classic was announced and it's UMass, Central Connecticut, Brown and Wake Forest. Those games will be played in Springfield on December 6, 2026. I suspect, if I had to guess, that Va Tech and Seton Hall may be playing in the yet-to-be-announced Hall of Fame Showcase which was played at the Mohegan Sun in late November last year. Coach Mike Young and Hokiesports.com might have jumped the gun saying they were returning to the "Tip-Off". Either way, very odd, but it should be cleared up soon.
