This is just my definition of it, so people will have different takes, but to me, it means having hands on with eyes on linebackers. I tell my guys when they double team, for example, that they should always have hands on the first level defender with eyes up to the second level defender. I scream constantly, hands on one, eyes on two. There are different things you look for as well, like when we slide protect are their eyes getting to the right gap, or when they run a pull play are they getting their eyes back inside the box for anything that might chase the play inside to out. I do not know if this makes sense.
