Maybe nobody cares, but I enjoyed it. 29 Medals; 25 Gold, 3 Silver, 1 Bronze is a good outing, no matter the competition.

I didn't see as much of Sunday's wrestling as I'd like to have, because I was coaching Nicaragua's only qualifier. He asked me Thursday because his National Coach switched to Guatemala and Nicaragua is between coaches. It was a lot of fun for a non-insider to spend a day behind the scenes at that kind of event. I got selfies with Buchanan and Hendrickson, and talked to several coaches and congratulated Sorensen on his well-deserved new job. Saw some things you never see from the stands. The wrestler I coached was Justin Rosales, 57kg. I told him I'd only hit the Challenge buzzer if he requested it because I didn't want to cost him a point if I was wrong. I would have hit it three times in four matches if it was my choice, but he didn't ask for any. He won his first two matches, by Fall and 16-6 TS, then lost in the semis to Cronin. It was weird coaching against the US. He lost his Bronze Medal match 8-6 after coming back from 0-4 to lead 6-4. He was really down, but we talked a while after. He would like to come to the US and get a Masters or a second degree. It was a great experience, though.
How old is your guy? Could he still have college eligibility left. Get some depth at 125

He's 24. I told him D1 was probably out of the question. ICCC had been in touch with him, and I told him Grand View might be worth looking into. I said D3 might even be a possibility, Coe, Wartburg, etc.

Edit; I don't know why you have to click on it to see the whole picture. Ugh
