As I said in a previous thread, us having a losing record in SEC play didn’t mean we weren’t a very good team. The SEC is just possibly the best conference in softball history this season. Having 9 of the final 16 teams in the tournament is insane. Too bad we have to face another SEC team in the super. I’d give us a good chance against a non-SEC team. We still have a puncher’s chance against Oklahoma.

You’re right. I misremembered our win over #1 Tennessee as being against Oklahoma.
15.2 innings. 26 K, 2 hits, 0 runs, 3 wins. In a regional. I have a hard time seeing how any pitcher anywhere has ever topped that.
considering most great pitchers / performances like this will be by a player on the host team - and she also no-hit the host team to boot, yea there's not a better regional pitching performance imo.
Before Oklahoma was in the SEC, she scheduled a home and away weekend non conference series with them when they were at their prime.
The broccoli thing made me want to turn it off. They should never give someone like that air time. Same as the Vandy whistlers. Attention is all they want for themselves
