Horseshit. Which shows you have no idea what the original poster was politely asking.

The poster was asking that 1 guy delay posting the results for 30 freaking seconds! Not until the tourney was over… not until others said “cool we are good”. It was literally “let the PbP post get done before posting the score”. Not until someone can get home to watch.

Wait 30 seconds for the PbP post to hit. It is mind boggling that anyone thinks that is even an impolite request. And again, the request didn’t come from me.
Ah, dude. My analogy is way more spot on as far as self awareness and the need of one to demand others meet their singular need. Your analogy is simple minded and incorrect. The fact you don't get it isn't all that surprising. 34 messages, probably half in this thread, and yet you are comfortable demanding a group of posters who frequent this board behave in a manner you see appropriate. You are the guy entering the bar demanding everybody turn the TV off because you don't want to know the results until you get home.

How about we end it on this? The request was made to me. The reply is “no.”

i have no desire to be first. I do a have a desire to post in real time with many other posters that I enjoy discussing dual and tournaments with over the years. Like always. It contributes to MY enjoyment of this board.
As another poster put it, give it rest.

Here’s a better example. Let’s take a purely hypothetical situation where two AFC teams are playing in an important game that can affect the playoffs. One of the teams is down by 2 touchdowns with less than 2 minutes left in the game. The clock reaches the top of the hour and the network stops broadcasting the game and puts on a movie about a little girl living in Switzerland.

Oh wait. ….

Around here we call that the “Flo Commercial Break.”

I never demanded anything. Someone else politely asked a guy to wait 30 seconds. I thought that was reasonable. And a bunch of people turned that simple request into massive hyperbole. All good. Cheers.

The hyperbole came from the infrequent board user demanding the frequent board members behave to your expectations. Sorry dude. You did demand, and as I pointed out you are the guy entering the bar and demanding the other 50 turn the TV off. Sorry you can't get that.
