That was a good watch. Although the "moderate left" that he refers to is dwindling by the days. They're consumed with group think. For example, the very issue he talks about, men in women sports, you rarely see any democrats peel off and vote with republicans.
I’m pretty sure most moderates think that boys/men in women’s sports is not right, but also think it is a gnat’s a$$ of an issue (I know I do). Yes, most of us don’t want it, but we also recognize there are FAR bigger issues affecting this country and that this can easily be addressed by sporting bodies instead of national policy. So as a moderate independent of course I’m not voting for some MAGA dumba$$ just because of this issue. I might agree on this one insignificant issue, but I disagree on many important topics.

I give MAGA politicians credit. They can take the tiniest of issues and make it incredibly important to y’all. It is quite remarkable and a big reason why people accuse y’all of being in a cult.

I honestly believe the MAGA industrial propaganda complex is incredible. Blows anything the left has done out of the water in terms of messaging and indoctrination

If it's such a small issue like you say, then why does the left fight for it so hard? Blue state after blue state allows it.

My entire point is this is a waste of time for politicians who should have much bigger fish to fry (economy, wars, immigration etc). I just don’t think we should waste time engaging on needless legislation that can be solved by sporting bodies. It is wasteful.

So the fact there aren’t such laws in blue states is not an apples to apples comparison. It just means they aren’t wasting time on it. An apples to apples comparison would be politicians who actively write legislation to guarantee the boys can enter girls sports. I am not aware of any mainstream liberals pushing such legislation. Help me out with names and dates because I must have missed it.

If they did I have the same disdain as I have for people on the right wasting time on this.

If it's not a big issue, then why don't they just dissappear?

If it's not a big issue, then just keep the dudes out of girls sports. No big deal.

What wasn't a big issue, trans has been around for as long as i remember, became a big issue when the activitsts started demanding use of pronouns. When they started letting perverts invade our schools.

What was a non-issue became an issue. It can go back to being a non issue whenever the creeps stop acting like creeps.

Pretty spot on. The right has taken a less than 1% issue and made it a 99% issue. We've got failing infrastructure, water issues, YUGE national debt, etc. Do I think biological men should compete against women in athletics? No. Do I want a bridge to not fall when driving across it? MUCH bigger no.

Trump's entire campaign was about transgender.

This is a great example of the right being unable to critically think while also being extremely un self aware:

- The left doesn't make it a big issue, the right can't get past it and is completely obsessed with it

- Their obsession is nonsensical, yet the right won't let it go. They expect the left to latch onto their obsession, but they won't as the right's ignorance on the issue does effect progress and actual people.

- Pronouns weren't forced on anyone from a federal government level. Yes the left championed them, but the outcry from the right is the issue, not the left encouraging people to be inclusive.

- It IS a non-issue but the right made it an issue. There is no reason for the left to back down because the right are acting like babies and blowing this thing up to astronomical proportions.

First off, in this context, stop pretending that sporting bodies in leftwing states are anything other than proxies.

Secondly, you are wrong on the legislation. For instance, California does have a law in place.

Controversy grows as California forces schools to switch to athletics league that lets males in girls sports

Students face dangerous Donner Pass commute after state demands switch from Nevada sports league

Specifically which politicians "fight for it so hard"?

Democrats and liberals mainly don't care about this issue, and don't see it as any big deal.

I live in Iowa and it's been a major obsession of Iowa Republicans but I don't think an actual transgender athlete has ever even competed in Iowa.

This "issue" is part of the perversion of Trump/maga. Creepy middle-aged men want to "inspect" girls.

And unlike some of the others here, I'm not up to discriminating against and attacking a tiny disadvantaged minority that has enough problems already with being hate targets without having the government also going after them.

This "issue" is a big part of why the current Republican party can be classified as a fascist "hate" party. Find a disadvantaged tiny minority, and target and scapegoat them for society's ills. It's absolutely disgusting.

The democrat vp candidate in 2024 literally put tampon machines in boy's bathrooms in government schools. It's laughable watching you guys claim democrats don't push this nonsense when the people at the top of the party most certainly are. Thankfully you guys keep doubling down on trans insanity as well so of course the Republicans are using that as an attack vector. If it was really such a small issue the democrat party would simply denounce it publicly and we'd be done with it. Weird how that hasn't happened at all.

This is a lie but no one is surprised that you believe it because you're never exposed to the truth in your dis-information sewer.

And we don't double-down on anything, in fact we don't talk about it at all. Do me a favor and look to see who starts all the trans threads and then get back to me.

And you are a continual fountain of lies because you saw something on tw@tter.

Walz signed a 2023 education law requiring all Minnesota public schools to provide free menstrual products to students in grades 4 through 12, but the law never specifically ordered schools to place them in boys' bathrooms. The legislation leaves the exact logistical rollout and placement of the products up to individual school districts and charter schools.

Come on JHP I can't believe you're posting on the Sunday of the PGA Championship smh.

Speaking of which- I put a few on Rahm/Rory/Taylor. You?
Leaders don’t tee off until 2, peckerhead

I don’t like Rory today. The jury is still out on Rahmbo IMO. He’s playing really good golf but this the final round of a PGA “major”

Love Taylor. Him and Smalley have been playing out of their mind the last few weeks.

Bridgeman has lost me a lot of money recently.

I’m on 8 matchups today
x man over Rory
Kityama over Lowry
Bezuidemhoit over Perry
Cantlay over M Fitz
Kim over DJohnson
Niemann over Reitan
Hisasitune over Brennan
Greyersmann over C Kirk

News flash: the extreme right (MAGA) and extreme left are equally bad. I know this is mind blowing, but neither is any better than the other. That’s the problem, they are both extreme.

He literally signed the bill that put tampons in boys bathrooms into law. I've supplied proof of democrats claiming males can menstruate. You are floundering big time. Why do you refuse to own the core policy positions of your party? You seem embarrassed (which is understandable to a normal person as most dem policies are fully retarded)

Has to be fake news. I know there were a lot of moderate, common sense dems that voted for this. Had to have been. Right?
A lot of somalians certainly did. Then they stole 10s of billions of dollars in fraud.

The only thing I'm embarrassed about is you and the cult you belong to because you are the worst of us and you vote. The rest of America and the world are repulsed by how you've managed to turn us into the Planet of the Apes.

By @JohnHughsPartner 's laughing emoji, I guess we can infer he'd rather focus on trans issues than the national debt, infrastructure, healthcare costs (and access), education decline, cybersecurity threats, inflation and cost of living, veteran healthcare and homelessness, housing affordability, the dadgum energy grid reliability...and the list goes on. Let's focus on the trans!

Exactly. They think they are special and deserve special treatment. God forbid they just blend in with the rest of us.

Addressing these alleged priority issues one at a time..

1. Joe biden spent more money than any president in us history. So much for the debt levels..

2. Dems allegedly spent trillions on infrastructure per point one. Obviously they weren't actually funding infrastructure and instead gave that money to special interest allies but hey, this problem should be solved in theory, right?

3. Healthcare costs are out of co trol because of the failures of obamacare.

4. Education decline is the WORST in democrat states despite record funding levels.

5/6/7, etc. Homelessness is worst in democrat states (whose policies encourage drug use while billions go to special interest friends again instead of the homeless), illegal migration sponsored by the biden/harris administration is a large driver of the housing crisis and Republicans currently have legislation to ban groups like blackrock buying single family homes and inflation was at its worst under sleepy joe who caused all prices to go up an average of 25% during his "presidency" (I put in quotes bc he wasn't functional for most of it, see the auto pen scandal)

What “real problems” did he bring up? More sludge about the trans threat to society is comical compared to the lack of affordability in housing, health care, transportation, etc…
