Letdown........Yes, it's one word.........
Optimistic. I am glad that we are pissed to lose instead of expecting it. We are a much better team than the past few years. Future is bright.

Assuming we host, then prior to the season I think you’d have to feel pretty good about it. But we had such a great start to both the non conference and SEC seasons that we sure had the look of a solid Top 8 national seed. So it’s a little disappointing after such a hot start. But I think in the end, 16-14 in the SEC is about par for who we are. Hopefully we can get hot and make a postseason run.
This is the word I was looking for. Not bad overall. But very much feel like it should have been better. Another is underperforming. 4th in runs scored, 5th in ERA, but finished 8th.

The tennessee series killed us. Take 2 of 3 there like we should and we are sitting fantastic at 18-12.
Take 1 and we are pretty darn solid.
