The last two nights, I sat beside some really nice state fans who were super complimentary of our program. Today, not so much. I mean, good for them, especially with the start they have had today, but I wouldn’t be talking the way they are if my team had just lost the series and got run ruled. I want to shut them up.

Hynek laces one down the LF line, Howe thrown out at home trying to score from first, play under review... sure looked like NCSU catcher was blocking the plate from where we're sitting.

“Buster Posey Rule") states that a catcher cannot block the runner’s direct path to home plate unless they possess the ball. If the catcher obstructs the runner without the ball, the runner is ruled safe.”

catcher had the ball before Howe got there. Correct call

Don’t think plate ump even considered whether Howe had a path to the plate. He was too busy putting juice on his out call and staring at Howe. If I didn’t know better I’d think the turd was taunting him.
