Since me saying I can't believe a student a the university hasn't seen a picture of the president one time. Seen him on a video one time. See him speak to students one time. Yes me saying that a student that is graduating doesn't have a clue who the man is is odd.
It's totally the same as them worshipping and bowing down to him like north korea leader.... The students should at least have seen the man one time throughout their academic career. ....now if they don't I dont think it's thats serious. I just find it crazy that they don't even know who he is. Yea they shouldn't know him like a student knows a highschool principal because I seen my principal just about every day. If I didn't see them I heard them speak on the intercom....
You mean to tell me the president doesn't have automated emails or anything welcoming student to the university? And yes I would figure they would have his picture throughout the campus.....I mean he is the president. I get if they didn't know who Pope or Stein was.

I don't recall my college president's name or what they looked like probably because I never knew nor cared even at the time.

If you weren't in student government or trying to join the faculty then your focus and priorities in college must have been unusual to even give a passing thought to who the president of the school was even seeing their name and picture for years and paying little to no mind because it doesn't matter on the day to day.
It's not a concern at all. I just replied to a thread that was posted. I don't think it's a big deal. I just figured a student would have at least seen a picture of the president one time. That's it. No big deal.
I would have never seen the video if it wasnt posted. I'm not a student and I know who the president is. So yes I thought it was odd a graduating student has never seen the man even in a picture. I don't think they are supposed to know him. Just figured they would.
