Also, what happens when they struggle? There’s no one else to go to when trying to finish the game out and they can’t pitch tomorrow.
I hate the fact that two games in a row we have found a way to piss down our legs and let this trash team think they can beat us.

It’s what happens against Arizona last year. We didn’t have any depth in the bullpen and started pitching Walker in the 5/6 innings when he was a closer all year. What good are our middle relief guys if they cannot throw now? Where seagraves and Boston?

We could have let Rose or Chewy pitch in a 10-2 game but now it’s 10-7 and we’ve lost Chewy as an option. Hard to explain.
Mistake was not getting Lynch out of the game sooner. He had zero control this inning.
