It’s obviously not great at the moment, but it’s also the second inning.. nothing was hit particularly hard. He came back and got 3 outs and gave up 2 runs and struck their best hitter out. Again, just take a breath lol
Big K on Head there. Stemmed the tide, now need to add some insurance runs.
Who would you put in? Is Jackson ready? It’s a tough call.

Huge strikeout for Lynch...not the inning and outing he would've wanted but what a way to recover at the end. Won the AB with Head on a 2-2 count just check these out these pitch velocities...97, 97, 98, 97, 97, 98, 98. Lynch's mix is something else with barely any off speed thus far and almost all ground balls. Only one ball in play has been put in the air and only 4 off speeds in his 55 pitches *yes stat broadcast has it wrong, Pat and I got it
Can Lynch find his slider? If not, that inning took a lot out of him . 30+ pitches. Chewy?

I mean it all depends.. another inning like that we’re lucky to get 4 just based on on the pitch count. But a couple quick ones and absolutley. It’s not like they’ve lit him up.
Don’t think I’ve ever heard a .280 hitter with 13 street pieces hyped as much as Ferrin and Sanchez have hyped Ty Head.

They do have a couple Johnson’s and a Head in their lineup.
I’m not a huge fan of Ty because he’s just so nonchalant.. but man the kid is toolsy. Reminds me of Deatherage from some years ago. Played a lot of baseball against him.

Lynch gave up 4 singles in the 2nd and a couple of them were grounders with eyes. It’s not like he was walking and hitting guys or giving up lasers off the wall.
Ryan is throwing some really good stuff, and they’re just spitting on it. They’ve had some really good ABs both games.
Fastball looks good, got some life. Just has no feel for the slider right now
