Lynch fooling absolutely no one. Jump out to a big lead and can’t get outs and gonna let them right back in it. And the shift has given up 2 hits in 2 innings so far.

Running through second is faster than sliding, if you run through 2nd and beat the force out and then get caught in a rundown, the guy on 3rd scores. That’s the whole idea behind it.
The other comment probably explained it better but his intention was to make the turn to try and get in a rundown and beat the force. Once he saw he booted it, he had to slam on the breaks and get back on the bag.
You know I really respect your opinion. Are you not concerned about how Ryan looks right now? He doesn’t look good at all to me, but I’m no expert.
