That seems...optimistic. Would be awesome though.

I would be curious to know what the next phase of expansion would be and how they planned to accommodate it with the orignial structure. If 1,000 people put up money and signed a ten year contract for tickets, could they do an expansion that makes sense? Surely with them reducing seating capacity in the remodel they put a lot of thought into what the next expansion would be and how it would tie in.

All I really did was extend the suites down the baselines. Has a similar feel to what Auburn and UT did w their recent renovations. It’s in the official master plan to do something like this eventually.

I was wrong. I thought that'd be a significant addition of seats because I was thinking of our total capacity rather than the grandstand capacity. This is a very rough guestimate based on a satellite overhead, but it looks like if we extended the grandstand like that we probably wouldn't add 2,000 seats? Which granted percentagewise is a big jump, but would assume we'd easily sell those season tickets now, although if you ask for a ten year commitment not sure what that looks like. I'm guessing after being locked out since expansion a lot of people will be a lot more inclined to commit, but maybe that's just a small vocal minority.

I dunno prob. The master plan calls for expansions in the outfield too.

The best way to expand the dude cheaply is to knock down the CF wall, build a slopping bush batter's eye, & then put a grand stand over dead CF like Wrigley & Coors. This would cost a fraction compared to lengthening the main grand stand down both lines with suites. This would just be a bare bones grand stand that adds 1,000 seats or so, while also providing some of the coolest seats in all of baseball

Based on this year‘s SEC record perhaps we should play every series on the road.
