Do you not comprehend that this is a forum about discussions.
without question and that permits me to comment on those discussions. Are you claiming otheriwse?

If this discussion had no merit, then why am I responding to you on the second page of this thread?
You continue to conflate discussing the value of your post with the substance of your post. You respond to me and I reply. That does not make any of your posts more credible.

Better yet, you don't contribute to any post on this forum. All you do is act like a child and insult. Clearly, you're not capable of doing so. It's sad.
False. Try again.

I recommend you think before you post, and live by this saying: Better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak and remove all doubt.
Wait, when you post making fun of or bashing Pope, are you adhering to this maxim? Did you think about this when you posted as the OP or were you just trying to troll?

His lists consists of Kentucky, Louisville and St. Johns.

If he wants to play for a contender you go with Rick Pitino.

If you want to play for a potential contender with the roster, you go with Louisville. Even though Pat Kelsey is still unproven

If you want to come for the big stage, probably play a system for your play than the others but play for a goofy guy who may or may not improve you, pick Kentucky.

Either way, the best scenario is he goes to UK.
Second best is he stays in draft so no one else gets him.
Worst case, its another massive Pope Whiff and goes to Louisville or St. Johns.

If he doesn't go draft, he's going to Michigan - bank it. He's throwing these three names out there as a smoke screen. May has suggested they haven't closed the door on a 3 (ding ding), but open to going with McCoy if it doesn't work out. What other three is still out there? What other player can he possibly be talking about? Graves is a 4.

What kind of pretentious dope uses the words "maxim" and "conflate" in regular conversation? You're real impressed with yourself.

And? UT had no issue because a trap is easy to beat if you have a coach.

You spend way too much time trying to prove a handful of posters on the weirdest issues.
Sorry, Insanity. When someone says having a PG was key and you point to a team that had one of the best to make your point without acknowledging that fact, it looks more like you just again using hyperbole and ignoring facts to be critical. It sucked, but it is understandable in a way that is not a coach failing to know how to break a trap. But, I do get your point that I should ignore the ridiculous emotional comments.

I didn't say anything about a pg. Hell we probably had more talent than UT but they had no issue.

A predictable half court trap is one of the easiest defenses to kill. That's called coaching. Normally its only used in spurts to disrupt the other team. That's because any halfway decent coach can just destroy it if they know its coming in any given possession.

It was embarrassing watching us wilt and Pope never have an answer to the desperation defense.

Glad to see Milan is chalking last years team up to roster makeup rather than coaching mismanagement (even though the coach builds the roster). Just need him to focus on what he can add to a fast paced offense because I truly believe we see Pope going back to the run and gun methods rather than whatever the F last year was lol

You did not mention PG. I mentioned PG play and then you responded by raising UT’s success against Iowa State as if some sort of proof that coaching acumen played a role. You picked a team with a great PG. at team Iowa State did not defend the same way it attacked UK and UK’s lack of ball handlers in the second half. So; yeah, we all saw UT prepare well and have the skill set to take down ISU.

Very hopeful news. Kelsey plays a sort of small college program live and die by the three concept at UL. His team seems to suggest he will back off that next year. He has proven players at the 3 & 4 spots. Hopefully Mom sees the flexibility of Pope’s roster and chooses UK.

He is clearly educated as to Pope.

Can hopefully sell him on that Brea shooter role and show him film of Zoom and Wilkins in terms of setting up for wing shooters to get him on board
Brea and Robinson. I could see us pushing the ball hard and hitting him on the run up the sideline and letting him pull the trigger from way outside the three point line.
